After filling this in, we will send an email to the address you give, with details of your new account. To activate your account you must go to the Web address we will send you. You only need to do this once, but it ensures that only you can sign up with your email address.

The 'secret' question and answer will only be used in the event that you change your email address, and so can't send you mail to allow you in to your account. Since someone could conceivably pinch your account and do things you might be blamed for it is worth thinking about what question you have here. Your mother's maiden name really isn't a secret, in any sensible fashion. Please pick something that isn't a case of looking up the relevant fact. It shouldn't be at all obvious - even to someone who knows you - what the answer is. The same is true of passwords, but people tend to pick much worse question/answers - and you generally give more information away in the question.

We'll be adding support for encrypted emails soon, where you can upload your PGP public key and any mails we send to you will be encrypted appropriately. If you think this is a good idea, and we should get on with it, mail web@future-i.com and tell Ash to get on with it.
